Parents,
Thank you to all for sending in the performing arts permission slips. I am still waiting on a few so please let me know if you need a new form.
Team Tritt: Information went home yesterday about an upcoming kickball game benefiting the Rally Childhood Cancer Foundation. Tritt staff will be competing against Mount Bethel’s staff in a friendly game of kickball to raise money for this wonderful foundation. I would love for you to support this cause with me and other members of our Tritt family. The game will be held at Walton High School on September 20th and 5pm. Hope to see you there!
We have a STEM showcase coming up on Wednesday, August 31st and we will be doing our Stuck Like Glue challenge. Are there any D.U.D.E.S (Dads Using Days to Encourage Students) who are able to help with our challenge on that day? Please contact me if you are interested.
Here is what we are learning next week:
Math: Continuing with place value and working on Addition strategies within 20; Counting on to make a ten.
Reading/Language Arts: Story structure and comprehension reading strategies of questioning and retelling; Irregular plural nouns
Writing: Narrative writing
Science: Matter; investigating changes.
STEM: Stuck like Glue challenge: We will become chemical engineers to create an environmentally sustainable glue.
Information and reminders:
