We had a wonderful STEM showcase day on Wednesday. The visitors that came were very impressed with what they saw. Thank you to Mr. Joyce who joined us for the fun.
Permission slips were sent home for our field trip to Safety Village. The cost is covered for this trip. Please sign and return at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

Here is what we are learning next week:
Math: Addition/Subtraction strategies within 20; Making 10, Balancing equations.
Reading/Language Arts: Story structure and comprehension reading strategies of questioning and retelling; collective nouns; We will practice the Long A digraph syllable patterns (train, stay, eight, sprain, tray, freight, complain, obey, raisin)
Writing: Narrative writing; Working on revising and publishing our narrative pieces.
Science/Social Studies: Matter; investigating changes.; Georgia Regions (The Appalachian Plateau, The Valley and Ridge Region, The Blue Ridge Mountains, The Piedmont, and The Coastal Plains.)

Rally Kickball Fundraiser
Tritt teachers will be competing against Mount Bethel’s teachers in a friendly game of kickball to raise money for the Rally Childhood Cancer Foundation! Please support this great cause and our very own Tritt teachers! The game will be held at Walton High School on September 20th and 5pm. I hope to see you there!
The donut sale benefiting the Rally Foundation will be held on Thursday. Students may purchase up to 2 and we do not take preorders for that. Students simply come to the cafeteria in the morning. They will bring the doughnuts back to their homerooms to eat. For more information, click the button below.
