I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break! We will be ready to hit the ground running on Monday morning. Please note special dates below to mark on your calendars.
Here is what we are learning this week:
Math: We will begin our unit on shapes. At the end of the unit students should be able to recognize and draw solid shapes like triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes. Students will also focus on identifying the number of sides and angles for each type of shape.
Reading/Language Arts: Multi-paragraph text; we will continue to read multi-paragraph texts and identify the topic of each paragraph and the main idea of the whole passage.
Writing: Publishing our Author’s Tea pieces.
Social Studies: Jimmy Carter
Science: We will begin our unit on plant life cycles
