Parents,
We ended October with our fall centers on Monday. It was fun that we were able to wear costumes because of the Dash incentives. Thank you to all who sent in items for the centers and to the parents who came in to help.
Here is what we are learning next week:
Math: Subtraction within 100 using a number line
Reading/Language Arts: Nonfiction text features and how rhythm works within poems, songs, and stories.
Writing: Using our forced perspective photos to write our first informational writing
Science: Energy – heat, light, motion
Information and reminders:
*Tuesday- No School
*If you are able, please send in nonperishable foods for Tritt’s annual food drive.
*Some students are still struggling with telling time. Let me know if you want to borrow a clock to practice at home with your child.
*Reminder to have your child log their nightly reading on the 200 book club logs.
Classroom Needs:
Donations for prize box (small token type items that you may have around the house)
Empty paper towel rolls
