On Veterans Day, we were lucky enough to have Mr. Martin come in and talk about some of his experiences. The kids loved listening to him and asking questions. Thank you again, Mr. Martin.
It felt a bit strange being away for three days but it was such an honor to be in D.C. with Mrs. Carstens to accept the National Blue Ribbon Award for our school. I am ready for a full week before our Thanksgiving Break.
Thank you to all who signed up to send in items for our feast on Thursday. I am looking forward to it and will send pictures.

Here is what we are learning the week of 11/18:
Reading/ELA- Points authors make in a text and how reasons support specific points/ contractions.
Writing- Informational Writing
Math- Continuing with addition and subtraction within 100 using different strategies and telling time to 5 minutes.
Social Studies- Tomochichi and Mary Musgrove; we will learn about their contributions, character traits, and how they adapted to and was influenced by their environment.
STEAM – Ongoing Save the Monarchs project.
