Parents,
Thank you to all the parents who were able to volunteer for our valentine centers. The kids had a great time. Also, thank you to all the parents and children who came to technology night. It was actually pretty fun learning “after hours”.
I hope you all have a restful break.
Here is what we are learning when we get back:
Math: Solving word problems using dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies and using the cent and dollar sign correctly.
Reading/Language Arts: We will continue our unit on folktales, fables, and fairy tales. We will focus on reviewing elements of each, practice finding the moral/message, and understand character point of view.
Writing: Persuasive writing
Science: We will review how the Sun compares to other stars, and we will learn about how shadows form and change during the day.

Monday- Cat in the Hat Day : Wear Favorite Hat
Tuesday- Fox and Socks Day: Wear CRAZY socks

Thursday- Cozy Up with your favorite Dr. Seuss Book: Wear PJs for $1 towards Rally and bring favorite. Dr. Seuss book
Friday- Thing 1 and Thing 2 Day: wear your Kind is the New Cool shirt (Whole School Twinning)
*Reminder to have your child log their nightly reading on the 200 book club logs.
