Families,
Thank you for your understanding about the race having to be rescheduled. Hopefully we will have a nice day on Wednesday. We would still love for you to cheer us on if you are able but understand that it is hard to rearrange schedules.
One of rewards from the fundraiser is costume day. We will have our costume day on Thursday (Halloween). We are not allowed to have costumes that cover the face or that have weapons. Your children have to be able to go about their regular day and be able to use the bathroom easily. We will have a fun day as that is also our Fall Centers. Our room parents have planned a fun activity.
We celebrated Emma C.’s birthday today. See above for what her classmates had to say about her.
Congratulations to Jacob! He was chosen from our class for the Tigers' Promise Pawsitive award. The kids agreed that the award was well deserved. Jacob is always following the Tigers’ Promise and is always kind and ready to learn.
Have a great weekend!
Here is what we are learning the week of 10/28:
Reading/ELA- Key details and understanding of informational texts/Root words
Writing- Informational Writing
Math- Addition and subtraction within 100 using different strategies.
Social Studies- Creek and Cherokee culture (now and then)
STEAM – Ongoing Save the Monarchs project.
Important dates:
Wednesday: Tritt-mazing Race (our time is from 10:45-11:30)
Thursday: Costume Day
