Here is what we are learning this week:
Math- Problem solving within 100 involving two steps.
Reading/ELA- Folk tales, fables, and fairy tales. We will be comparing and contrasting different versions of the same story/Shades of Meaning of verbs (toss, throw, hurl) and closely related adjectives (thin, slender, skinny, scrawny)
Writing- Opinion Writing; focusing on having examples or details to back up reasons.
Social Studies/Science- Sun/stars; comparing and contrasting by using physical attributes like size and brightness.

Monday- Counseling with Mrs. Grindstaff
Thursday- Math Night at Publix
Friday- PJ Day for Read Across America
