Here is what we are learning the week of 2/10:
Reading/ELA- Recount stories, including fables and folktales from diverse cultures, and determines their central message, lesson, or moral.
Writing- Opinion writing; we are working on writing opinion pieces that introduce a topic or book, state an opinion, supply reasons that include linking words (because, and, also) and provide a concluding statement.
Math- Solving One Step Word Problems; Consistently and independently uses addition and subtraction to solve one and two step word problems within 100.
Science- Students will investigate how shadows, moon phases, and length of day change over various time periods.
