Math: MGSE2.G.1 Geometry
Identify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes. Recognize and draw shapes having specified attributes such as a given number of equal faces.
Reading/ELA: ELAGS2RI1 Key Ideas and Details
Asks and answers questions as who, what, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text.
Phonics: ELAGSE2RF3b,c,d
Decode two syllable words with long vowels, such as reptile and paper.
Writing: ELACC2W3 Informational Biography
Writes informative/explanatory texts that introduce a topic, use facts and definitions to develop points, and provide a concluding statement or section.
Science - Plant Life Cycle
S2L1a,b,d Determines the sequence of and models the life cycle of 4 common animals (mammal, bird, amphibian, insect) AND models the life cycle of a plant from seed to maturity by recording changes over a period of time.)
S2L1 c Accurately constructs an explanation of an animal's role in dispersing seeds AND in the pollination of plants.
